Samsung Galaxy Tab S 10.5 is organized and its a featherweight. It weighs only 465g, however this is just a couple of grams not exactly the ipad Air. It's additionally thin — 6.6mm makes it 1mm more slender than the ipad Air. These are all fine edges, however the Galaxy Tab S 10.5 has less rivalry among Android tablets at this size. As 10-inch Android tablets go's, out in front.

Samsung galaxy tab s 10.5 review |
The comparison to the iPad is not balanced. Looks are personal and reviewers while being able to express their opinion, should put that aside when looking at how good the tablet is. In reviews of iPads you will see praise for the screen, battery life, its thin and lightness, all of which are correct. Apply that here and the Samsung betters the iPad on all counts, so that gives it a big almost headstart of the iPad. Add that to better cameras, greater RAM and the memory card slot there is only one logical winner.
Its not all about hardware though, a great tablet has to have great software. With Apple you only have what you are given, IOS is not bad for what it does it is smooth, responsive, but it is limited. Android not only feature for feature matches IOS, but on many betters it. It in itself is just as smooth and responsive than IOS and the apps are less likely to crash (you miss this point too). It is also customisable, which make it potentially much more likely to match your taste and requirements if that is what you want. Add to that real multi-tasking (one advantage of the RAM) and you really do have a superior OS.
We agree Touch Wiz may not be to everyones taste and can be laggy, but if you do not like it take a minute and remove it, so no real issue there! I could pick issues with IOS like reliance on itunes, not being able to remove Apple apps that are not any good or not wanted, not being able to replace the aweful keyboard ..... I could go on. If you are going to pick on things on one device and not the other your review is unbalanced and not relevant.
One plus point for Apple tablets is the amount of apps written for the iPad, but that is changing fast just as it did for phone apps, but at this point in time it is a valid negative for the Samsung.
Even you price comments are incorrect, you get much more for your money with the Samsung, it is more than likely to prove more robust and if you take the cost of extra storage into account the Samsung comes up less expensive anyway!
Overall there is only one winner as the best tablet between the two. One may prefer the iPad, want to be in the Apple ecosystem, you may personally like the look, IOS design and its functionality works for you. However, comparing the two, independent of personal likes or dislikes which as a independent reviewer you should be, there is as I said, only one winner and that is the Samsung.
